If you are a bookbinder with tools or equipment to buy, sell or exchange, then you have come to the right place!

If you are looking for tools or equipment, scroll through the entries below. If you find what you are looking for, use the email link to make contact. If you have tools or equipment to offer, then complete and send the entry form. Your entry will appear at the top of the list on this page. Email me when you get a response, and I will remove your entry from the list. You can also email me if you need to change any details in your entry.

If you want to advertise your bookbinding services, please keep it brief. Ditto for bookbinding courses. For long entries, email me and I will set up a link for you from my Discover Bookbinding page. Long or irrelevant entries in The Bookbinder's Toolbox are an inconvenience for other users, and will be removed without notice.

Don't worry if you experience some delay between posting your entry and seeing it appear on the page. It's just the server processing your request in the background.

Thanks to Laura Lemay for providing the original guestbook script that forms the basis of this service. If you're interested in writing your own CGI scripts, Laura's book Teach Yourself Web Publishing with HTML in a Week (last updated to cover HTML 4) still provides an excellent introduction. These days Laura seems to have switched from writing books to blogs, and from html and perl to Dreamweaver. Sign of the times I guess.

I have a rare Bookbinding Machine for sale, its a Backing Press from the mid 1800's, purchased from London for The South Australian Government Printing Office, no rounding rollers on this one, but may never been. Is perfect for rounding and backing your books, I paid a fair bit for it 20 years ago, and it was rare then. Press is marked with a damaged plate "Harrild & Sons Printers Engineers London E.C." $2500
