Thanks to Laura Lemay for providing the original

introduction. These days Laura seems to have switched from writing books to blogs,
and from html and perl to Dreamweaver. Sign of the times I guess.

Printer’s Type and Borders, etc
I have 3 fonts of Printer’s type and an array of small blocks which printers used for borders, but which can be used for designs.
The type is all foundry metal, and although it is not the hardness of brass it will surely do enough impressions to suit most amateurs. There is a sans serif 36pt, capitals and smalls, with numbers and punctuation. Rather dirty as has been stored under a bench for years, but will clean readily. The second set is serif face, not unlike Times Roman, slight italic, capitals but no smalls, with numbers and punctuation. Again rather dirty, but will clean. The third is18 pt Sans Serif Italic face, capitals and smalls, with numbers and punctuation. Same condition. I’m asking $50, $40 and $50 respectively plus postage. I can provide photos and also tables of numbers of each letter.
The borders, etc are mainly in sizes 18 pt x 18 pt down to 12 pt x 6 pt and even 6 pt square. They are a mixture of monotype and foundry type. I’m offering these at $25 / square inch, random selection by me (but with some guidance as to what you are seeking)), plus postage of course.
